Talked to Alliance's IR people this afternoon. The general impression is, things are still cloudy and no immediate improvement in sight. Basically I was told that the company is in "sit and wait" mode, until DRAM's price picks up, there has been no DRAM business. Yes, the company is working on some new products, both DRAM and SRAM, pc100 and 64mb. But all these things are not likely to affect the bottom line until Dec. qtr. the earliest. The following is the list of my question/issues and her brief answers to them.

1) this qtr's revenue - some what improvement
2) Canadian law suit - no further development to talk about
3) share buy-back - bot some, will report in the qtrly report
4) lay off - it's done. Should save some expense there
5) USC IPO - still a possibility. No new development
6) Cash situation - has enough cash to sit and wait
7) Strategic alliance (merger, buy-out, etc.) - always an option.

In general, no exciting things to mention about. Company has no plan to rescue the stock price. Kind of doldrums. Just like its stock performance.

Be patient! That's the only thing I can say.
