reI can't imagine what life would be like without those childhood memories
Every child has childhood memories!
The home school child has memories of a close knit and loving family. Of learning at his/her own level. At a relaxed atmosphere instead of rows, lines, restrictions imposed without individual need.
Also most home school families that I know have plenty of interaction with other families, so the children have plenty of socializing.
And growing up with your family's point of view is one of the main points: parents SHOULD be able to inculcate their values and morals and ideas to their children: when the children grow up, they will look around and decide if those fit or not.
And if enough parents home schooled, there would just be a few schools and we would be rid of this public education system with its tremendous expense and brainwashing and ritalin and robotic obediance.
