In constant 1980 inflation adjusted dollars ... ... gold is probably at ALL-TIME lows. Does anyone have any inflation adjusted numbers? At 4% a year x 17 years = 75% (compounded)??? $300 1997 dollars would = $75 1980 dollars but on the bright side, gold hit $850 in 1980, how much is that in 97 dollars?!?!?!
