It is obvious that WGDF will be on the Amex sooner rather than later as they were invited to the Amex show.

WGDF has a "unique" (for LC <G>)opportunity to sell their waste ore or stripping material to LA county right next door to Mesquite. LA county is opening a 100 year waste dump in 2008 and will need tons and tons of aggregate/dirt to cover the waste.

Please do your own DD on the following:WGDF is going to move 50-60 million tons of dirt per year and of that maybe 20 million tons will hit the leach pads. If WGDF sells 40 million tons for 20 cents a ton(going price in California is about 40 cents a ton I think??That was in Randy Oliphant's presentation this week) that is 8 mill in revenue that other gold companies just don't get.
Production costs on 165,000 X 402 = $66,330,000.Dirt sales may cut that by 8 mill or 48 bucks an ounce. That is huge. I know I may be missing something here but if not this is very significant. Check out Randy Oliphant's presentation to Amex.

I reduced a bit on WGDF to add to GGC and USA recently but it is still a core position. I plan on reversing that trade in the next few weeks. WGDF will be a major hold for me through 2008 unless there are big changes.
