I've been writing front month 25s against 1K shares of AAPL @ $25 since January, and doing very nicely with a trading range of 20-25.

However, this week they warned, the stock fell into the 17s, and there is no reason to think the fundamentals or the price will improve until Nov or Dec.

Seems that I'm stuck rolling down and/or out, starting perhaps with August 20s when they become available and watching very carefully near expiration. I don't want to get called and realize a $5k loss in the underlying.

I would be grateful for any advice.
