If a stock or index moves above or below a point where there is no close candlestick to reference, simply switch to a different type of technical analysis…..trend-lines.

A trend-line is exactly that, a straight line that plots the lower line where a stock or index normally bounces. The same can be said about an upper trend line.

When you place and upper and lower trend-line on a chart, you have a trading channel.
