If everyone gets a regular flu shot, then the article makes no sense.
If only a small fraction get the regular flu shot, then the article is extremely interesting.
Then there's the in-between. In general people falling into higher risk groups tend to get the regular flu shot,
and presumably would also be more at risk for swine flu for which no vaccine is currently available.
Sure throws a monkey wrench into Pfitzer's plans if the correlation is universal.
