Paul-
Unfortunately, even the bright ones go quickly. Aside from emotional ejaculation the one point you attempt to make is some digression about my misusing the word "specious", even though I used it exquisitely. (please reread)
<Consequently, your argument is "deceptive" or "specious" because it is well-written, seemingly credible, yet implies that TA is not valid when in fact that is what the best use>
In other words, "attractive on the surface but without merit".
attractive on the surface = "well-written, seemingly credible . ." but without merit = ". . yet implies TA is not valid when in fact that is what the best use"
Could it ever have been used more perfectly? Nice red herring.
I will now respond tO Brad's post since he, at least, made an attempt to address one of my main points.
I do suggest, however, you read Market Wizards. I was reviewing it tonight, and it really is replete with morsels of investment wisdom. There is a method to becoming good at anything. And step#1 is to learn how the experts do it.
Happy Investing!
