Toni, I assume the ask was 1.8125 (1 13/16) at the time you placed your order, so you were 1.2 cents under the ask? Hard to believe that they would quibble over 1.2 cents but from the fact that only one MM was on the ask for most of the day, perhaps they were low on inventory, hard to know. I have noticed that orders placed with my DLJ account tend to execute much more quickly than the same order with Ameritrade, so perhaps the brokerage firm you are using could be the problem? Anyway, good to have you here on SI.
