I strongly feel the warnings were built in and are fully discounted. The next leg up will commence real soon and the techs will participate due to the fact the warnings are already past us. thebeach, I agree these disappointments are fully discounted. Once INTC made their announcement, one could only conjecture that the largest PC maker, CPQ, had slow sales. I can't believe the entire market missed that. networkers are in a strong position whereby PC sales are still strong but margins are squeezed Unit sales for PCs are not down. The high end units are down. The lower priced units still require networking. Finally, I still anticipate CPQ to recover to close to 30 by the end of this week based on the market looking forward.
