Sorry I was away for the weekend and didn't check the thread till now.
As to your question I use my local provider and get on at between 50 and 56kb. I have had no problems at all and even run a browser in the background with a live charting program. My orders appear within one or two seconds after entry and i couldn't be happier with the service.
Good Luck on your trading you picked a fine firm.
