VANCOUVER, April 17 /CNW/ - Scorpio Mining Corporation (TSX:SPM - News) is pleased to report additional drill results from the 9th Level of the Nuestra Senora Silver-Zinc deposit, targeting the main Nuestra Senora body.
Scorpio currently has three underground drills operating, two dedicated to infill drilling to upgrade the resource categories and one for exploration. A fourth drill, on surface, is targeting the Santa Teresa and Santa Domingo areas. It has completed two drill fences approximately 250 metres to the northeast of the Nuestra Senora portal entrance. Results will be made public once assays are received. A second surface drill will be on site next week to commence a regional program to the east of Santa Teresa, targeting prospective areas delineated by the geological mapping program.
