CISI - IAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 1999--CIS.com Inc. (OTC BB:CISI) announced today the initial evaluation of its DemoMall. The main purpose of the DemoMall is for demonstration purposes in an effort to show the public how easy the stores are to navigate. It is not the intent to emphasize the ultimate product mix that will appear in the completed on-line mall. The E-Shirts online demo store is designed to show retailers and merchants, how they too, could profit by having a product for sale in an online store even if they have only one product for sale. The Hot Wheels Online demo store is designed to show how retailers and merchants with more than one product can profit by having a store at ecismall.com (E-Commerce Internet Shopping Mall). A visitor to the mall said, "How much easier could it be? It's like using Windows Explorer or file manager. It doesn't get any easier than this." Many potential mall merchants from anti-aging health products and automobiles to clothing and housewares have expressed their desire to be included in the ecismall project. Though highly focused on the Grand Opening of the computer product stores at ecismall.com, CIS.com is in the process of attracting other merchants and is ready to negotiate lease space and optional services at ecismall.com. A soon-to-come E-Zine (Electronic Maga-Zine) is on its way to keep investors, potential investors, and customers abreast of what is going on at ecismall.com. "Basically, it is an online version of a periodical. We want to offer the public an opportunity to receive an informational newsletter (via email) that will include a copy of the latest press release, upcoming events, stores openings, and product specials." states Carlton Glassford, the design engineer for the multi-online malls project. An online sign up form for this service will be available on the mall. CIS.com approach to operating this mall is no different than if it were opening stores in a shopping center. Each store in the ecismall will be managed as its own entity. CIS.com is hiring multi-talented and multi-technical personnel who are familiar with the Internet, the computer industry, have strong customer service skills, and are willing to manage "their online store" the same way they would if they were in a public mall. CIS.com, Inc. envisions well-managed and highly organized individual stores within the mall. Each store independent yet cooperating with the others. "We are looking for store managers who are well rounded and would like to become more specialized in a particular area of the computer industry. For example, someone who is experienced with computer products knowledge but, would like to be a specialist in a particular product area. We will train them in-house as well as send them out for specialized training in their selected area of expertise. In addition, we intend to do a lot of cross training. A company can be a computer company and not be successful as an online mail order company. It takes a lot of customer service, product knowledge, and experience," said Carlton Glassford, the design engineer for the multi-online malls project. Ecismall.com will soon feature 25 stores that will be tailored to a particular area of the computer industry. Instead of having aisles, it will have separate stores for many of its categories. Over 1500+ search categories broken down into groups, categories, and sub-categories have already been created to break down the overwhelming selections of brand name computer products the mall will be offering. Many brand name computer products the general public is already familiar with will be featured. Harold Stock, President of CIS.com said, "Carlton has years of experience in computer networking, the computer industry, customer service, and the computer mail order industry. We have a lot of faith in his abilities and draw from his first-hand experiences to continue to build an outstanding product."
