Microsoft Mobile Explorer for Feature Phones Will Power New Sony CMD-Z5 Mobile Phone

HANNOVER, Germany, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Sony-Digital Telecommunication Europe today announced that Sony's CMD-Z5 GSM mobile phone, presented this week at CeBIT 2000, will be powered by Microsoft(R) Mobile Explorer(TM), Microsoft's modular software platform for Internet-enabled mobile phones.
