I doubt she got any blessing from GS for the numbers. I think she needed a newsblip or she was asleep at the while and waited too long to adjust their numbers for the changed situation. Credit Suisse estimate is 1.7$/share for the quarter, so she is not that far off consensus at it seems. Either way I don't think that the earnings for the quarter matter so much for GS stock price.
