Do we have any estimates of how much of Intel's troubles were caused from it's investment portfolio vs. cash flow from daily operations? I do not follow INTC as closely, but if these numbers are available, it would be telling.

I don't have the numbers in front of me either, but I do remember that when analysts lowered their estimates in the third or fourth quarter, about 75% of the lowered portion was due to deterioration of the expectations regarding investment income. Income from daily operations was suffering too, but the relative magnitude of suffering was far less.
