Since we took over the Ford forum on si; we have been working out the business plan for auto industry in the US.

Both Ford and GM made many mistakes over the years, and we will attempt to put them back in the old ways of doing car business. The ways Henry Ford and Alfred P Sloan did famously.

GM committed the ultimate sin of reducing GM dealership to only one franchise allowed per dealer, and lack of auditing teams to visit their franchises to look at all the accounting problems.

Today, GM went up substantially in intraday trading, because we want GM to have two franchises per dealer. And location selection freedom to suit the dealers. Of course, GM has to restore some brand names to get their loyal brand recognition customers back. Same as Ford has with Taurus brand.

Kerkorian, Gabelli and Icahn may all reinvest in General Moose again. The 7-10% intraday moves will be assurance that these long time investors will find value in GM with the new business plan.
