Always a fire on this board, eh? Limit-Aon's financial revelation is old news to some of us. It's been previously discussed ad nauseum either here or on the SI board or both. Now, it's come up again, recycled-yet-enhanced with the likes of Mafioso connections. I am not about to go dredge up the facts this time around but I do seem to recall that the company is not living hand-to-mouth anymore. Been there, done that.

I have been semi-absent from the board due to other duties, but have attempted to keep posted as it were. I see that many folks have forgotten that Edig's Micro OS is cross-platform compatible: that includes the capability to manage EPAC, AAC, MP3's, and whatever, whether singularly or in multiples. The codec algorithm is simply not key to Edig's success. Lucent, on the other hand, has based their success of their EPAC codec using Edig's Micro OS. That's a huge affirmation. Lucent's representation and interaction is of high importance to Edig for wide-spread, international exposure.

As the secure music drama plays out, I am quite comfortable in the fact that Edig's technology is capable of catering to one camp or to a multitude of camps. We can go off on tangents, such as I did with RNWK (who would've thought their big announcement would be for MP3's; their stock price showed that many more than I were fooled), or we can be patient and watch the big picture play out.

In fact, while many here were whining that there was no news this week, there were several huge pieces announced by Edig's partners that have every indication that Edig is in the right place with the right stuff at the right time. Consider the Phil Ramone/Lucent news...Ramone is the COTB of the Grammy's. Was it TwoMill who said that one endorsement of LU by Ramone was worth more than 50 CNBC RNWK/MP3 mentions? Then we had the LU/Netscape portal licensing agreement for handhelds. I believe that is an industry first. There's more, such as the IBM and Phillips announcement. BUT, if you don't know thru DD what to look out for, you might just cry that there's no news. The dots are indeed connecting..but you have to know which dots to watch out for. I rest assured that our partners are working on our behalf and Edig specific news will come shortly. Whether the FIRST breakthrough news is Lanier, Sony, BMG or other, I
know there will be more to follow.

To wrap it up, I have to laugh at this board.. The one's trying to rekindle fires already put asunder
or
IBM, Intel, Lucent, Lanier, Phillips et al.

You know where my money is.

My money is right there with you! EOM.
