El: A former cop!!!!! Should introduce you to my bruvver who just got the Queen's Police Medal from Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace. (When it was his turn, they announced him as the Chief Constable of a major police force - when he approached the Queen she said "And what do you do?" He had prepared several replies to her possible questions - but was not expecting that one. Seemed a bit redundant to say "I'm a Chief Constable, Maam".
