Im not surprised - they had to do something. This is their Hail Mary - there are no deals coming to save the day (even though zero would have changed my mind). Too bad they didn't make a deal with VenBio, but no surprise there either. This is another example of the G's not giving a damn about doing whats best for the shareholders. They are willing to change the board and Cynthia will retire in June - why not go with the Ven Bio board who are clearly more qualified then the slate the G's are putting forth? If it is possible, I dislike them even more today.
