OTOH, one unexpected (to me) feature of theIPO is that COMS will only spinoff 8% or so of the shares, which is great for COMS holders, even short term. It's also better for Palm.">> Agreed-- I never would have bought coms for the possibility of a spin off--- only bough due to the buyout probability at the time. You believe this type of spin is better for PALM-- possibly so but EB is only doing it this way for coms.
