No, it's one means to "the solution". "The solution" is to use oil in an efficient manner, and that can be done with/without electric cars. The key is to replace the fleet with a much more efficient fleet as soon as possible. And that takes government action to speed and smooth the transition. Ridiculous. Why do you think it is that in the last two months you have seen numerous reports of wide-scale electric vehicle production? It is because the price of gas has gotten to a level that OEMs are motivated to do it. Government has not one damned thing to do with it. We need government to stay out of the picture and let the markets do what they do best. Geez. You guys would fuck up a wet dream.
