"demand for dram continues to remain strong" just before dram fell from about $7 to $1.50 in 8-9 months. 3. in december of last year, i think it was steve applesauce that said they believed the koreans were nearly out of inventory (btw, they had probably already put together their 10q that said they didn't have a clue what korean inventories were ;-) while dram continued to slide as korea continued to liquidate MASSIVE inventory positions. dram was about $4 or so and dropped through the floor in the ensuing 6-7 months to $1.50. so, you see, kip blowhard either 1. doesn't have a clue or 2. sees an opportunity to fleece those that are incapable of independent thinking abilities. they don't like me b/c i ALWAYS face them. i call their bullsh*t within 2-3 seconds AND I'M ALWAYS RIGHT. MARK MY WORDS, THE AVG BOX WILL NOT HAVE 78 MB OF DRAM BY THE END OF THE YEAR. NOT EVEN CLOSE. MAYBE 40-50 ABSOLUTE TOPS - barring a further substantial deterioration in dram pricing. it actually may drop if this mu money losing price sticks. since muei can't make a profit even now, they sure won't add anymore dram - they can't afford it ;-) "use your mind or somebody will use you."
