Rick, new AIDS drugs can get "accelerated" approval by FDA. Merck's protease inhibitor was approved just 42 days after application to FDA. Their application was based on just two clinical trial involving less than 500 patients. If PN355 is an effective, safe, and cheap treatment it could, in theory, be approved just as quickly. The URL for the Merck protease inhibitor follows pharminfo.com Best regards, Bill in St. Louis.
