Brendan, Thanks. I am looking forward to his response tomorrow.

My main concern is that there are huge margin pressures all over the tech sectors - CPUs, HD's, DSPs, graphics, and even those high-priced 17" monitors are coming down hard. Great for my checking account. Bad for my IRA account.

Now I see competition heating up in the removable area too. I am particularly concerned that SYQT seems willing to dump in order to stay alive. I don't see how they can introduce a $200 1GB drive and $33 1GB media. IMO, either it is cheap junk, or they are not making a big enough profit to stay in business. But if they ship enough, for long enough, they may "Fujitsu" Jaz.

To me, HiFud is just vapor. I prefer to worry about competition that is actually shipping. Thus I worry today about Jaz's future, even more than usual.
