Remember watching Ben Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, and Doctor Zhivago in the theaters? Yeah man.

BTW I grew up in Princeton and remember seeing Nash trundling about the Campus. Trust me, Nash didn't look anything like Russell Crowe. And, if I remember it right, Nash smoked cheap stogies, not cigarettes, but that was long ago and far away.

I do remember that scene in Patton when Scott recites his eternal soldier poem to Carl Malden's Bradley in front of the fields of Zamma. Speaking of Zamma, do you remember the scene in Gladiator when they recreate the battle in the Colisseum? Know who played the bewigged announcer? David Hemmings of "Blow Up" fame. I was amazed. I was truly sad that Oliver Reed died making that picture. A real loss.
