George, I am not a bit offended!

You may not have noticed that when his reasoning is specious or when he is merely engaging in sniping attacks, I am one of the first to call him on it. However, when he is engaged, as in the discussions about Objectivism, he can be an exhilarating person with whom to deal.

When he is sniping, I shouldn't call it "playpen blather"--rather, empty cleverness.

I should note that when I said that like the rest of us, he is multifaceted, I was not referring to his personal kindness and generosity--although they are there. I simply meant that the same person who can resort to empty cleverness and plain goofiness can also post some comments that are intellectually demanding of attention.
