I'm mightily impressed by the way Obama has defeated the Clintons, who, after all, have been through this campaign stuff several times and should have squashed the rookie Obama campaign like a bug. If he can whip a national campaign together capable of this, it bodes well for his ability to run the government. Agreed. Who would have thought that being a 'community organizer' would be good preparation for a presidential campaign? I guess everything is scalable. Still has to go through the swift boat process, with the extra race distrust thing. It will be very nasty... I'm actually thinking of giving my meager contributions to the key congressional races. Obama will have no problem raising money and a veto proof congress could be the last stand to get some decent energy (and other) policy.
