I agree there are not many competors in the small run application specific aspect of the market. However, it is my understanding that last year the ASIC market as a whole did $17 billion in sales. A majority of those sales were done by the larger companis that do not make application specific chips. Those companies make only a couple kinds of chips and expect people who need the chips to use them even though they are not specifically designed for the operation for which they need the chips. Therefore a company such as Chips Express or Jmar could benefit from there small size, and at the same time get economies of scale from these small production runs because of the unique production set ups.

Do you know if Chips Express is have any greater success at this than Jmar is currently having. I realize they are not exactly the same but close. In fact why doesn't Jmar contact them and do an agreement with them. This would allow them to have a local location in the United States and Jmar could benefit from any knowledge they might have.
