I think that the split is definitely a key piece of information. If it wasn't for the split, I'd be worried that the move was based on info contained in a press release that we'll see in about 4 hours -- announcing lower-than-anticipated profits. However, it seems incredible that a company would announce a split in Jan and then pre-announce within 2 weeks. It seems extremely unlikely. Place your bets, the wheel stops spinning in 90 mins!
