jeff..thanks..I beleive that my kids can state their opinions well enough in school. their freinds can then have the free will to accept or reject their beliefs.

I do think it is interesting that the scope's trial was argruing that
evolution should have equal status in schools and that it should be taught along with the Genesis interpreatation..the one I think is wrong.
the lawyer agrued that the real injustice was not hearing both sides.
He argrued that a group should not exclude the free and open thought.

And, now what do we have??? Most evolutionist don't beleive that
you teach both and let them make up their minds. So, they've done what the scope's trial argued against and won.

Of course , In Texas most of the scientist here are not clear enough on what the truth is and most parents want only a few lines on evolution taught.So, if it stays like this I'm okay..
My kids can get the truth out and they don't spend all thier bullets taling about evolution. they spend it talking about a loving relationship with a God that cares.

ps. those that are tryng to change the text books do not use statements like mine. I'm a gappist. the ones you are refering to are creation scientist..
I've never heard of a move to teach gap theory in schools and one doesn't exist. That's why I think you were just lumping them all together and that's okay.
