Survival of the fittest is not the evolutionary theme. Survival of the most adaptable is. Our brain - the same one that allows us to have this discussion - developed as a result of our ability to adapt, to work together for the protection of our young, to sustain each other and support each other, by self-sacrifice, if necessary. Actually, it is amazing how much the history of humans (and even the higher primates) preordains Christ's teachings...
If God has chosen to allow us to understand His works, what fools would we be to deny that?
