I spent the weekend in SFO last week. Had a blast. My daughter is in Seattle now, considering whether she wants to move there (in spite of the liberal lunacy of the region).

I have no problem with either place. But neither represents anything close to the mainstream of American life. I mean not close as in the most extreme you can get.
