Today, GIFS sent out a note to various brokerage houses warning them of several individuals who are trying to use non-negotiable certificates. The note says, "These certificates are presently under a stop transfer order and is the subject of pending litigation in preparation seeking their outright cancellation and damages against various parties." GIFS names Distefano, Hamilton and TLD3 Investment Group as the parties involved. I don't know how many brokerages have this note, but we should all probably talk to our brokers and give them a heads up. Mark
