April 4, 2007-Melkior Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MKR) announces that it has mapped staked 167 claims totaling approximately 8700 hectares in the Otish region of north central Quebec. The claims are located approximately 30 kilometres north west of the Otish basin which is actively being explored for uranium. The new claims adjoin the MacLeod Lake molybdenum-copper property of Western Troy Capital Resources Inc. where Western Troy has recently announced a 2000 metre drill campaign.
