Steve, I missed on anything important in this age of ours. I can proudly proclaim I was the first to report on My Lai massacre in Slovenia (big deal, right?), but that's about it regarding my 68 involvement. And I had always the uneasy feeling I'm getting off cheap, never had a war to fight in (my parents had to two to survive through) never met anything dangerous to my health...

And Im concerned about my kids, because they (?) have even less to lean on - stupid me, they are far better equipped to survive I guess than I am in this last few years of 2K -.

Now here's some points to chew on: First a question for our day-trading pretorians - you must have some paradise cases to report on. Feed my dreams pls.

Now to my ISSUE: may be I just happened to think more than necessary/asked for (g).

Referring to the 120k$ number I quoted as the per family capital gains of the last 4/5 years.... Can this number be greater than EEPF of the economy? ( EEPF - estimated earnings per family;). If this is so (evidently there's some objective support to this statement) how is it possible for the total market value to be bigger than it's actually (as per EPS) worth?

Answer I: there must be more buyers than sellers, which means the causes are exogenous (damn-the-Japs argument - seems supported by the recent market development )

Answer II: there's more money around than we think, aka "M2 /3 kick in" aka "let's cheat on the Fed" aka the bread-and-fish-multiplication act aka margin buys.

Answer III: Wishful thinking at the US/world level, aka exuberant aberration

Any more answers?

Help me understand

regards

DJ
