Somebody was looking for information on qcom's investment in phcm. (My addled brain does not even remember whether it was on this thread or the Suthread.)I recalled that there was an investment plus a license agreement, but all I can come up with is this article in the UT. The Q web site press releases only go back through 1998 and this piece appeared in Jan 1997. "Unwired Planet, Qualcomm link Qualcomm of San Diego has signed a license agreement with Unwired Planet of Redwood Shores and has made an unspecified equity investment in the company. The license allows Qualcomm to add Unwired Planet's UP.link product to its digital phones and other wireless products. The technology allows wireless phones to access electronic mail and information on the Internet without any physical connections. Terms of the license and equity deal were not disclosed. "
