jewell, I saw the offending post before it was removed. IMO,
that should have been worthy of a suspension or termination
if he had a history of other serious violations.

Unfortunately, SI Admin has allowed the situation to get out
of hand. They never had to involve themselves in the veracity
of opinions on political threads. All they had to do was
consistently enforce the TOU when folks crossed the line.
Sooner or later those who refuse be civil would be weeded out.

Instead, it is almost a free for all. That may be why they
have little interest in the political threads. And it may be
why they have an uncertain future.

BTW, my post was tongue in cheek knowing the absurdity
discussed above & the actions of those on the thread in
question. Most often it infuriates me. Other times I have to
laugh at it & poke a little fun at it.
