Hmmm.....What if, a shell company announced a merger with another company that had assets, revenue, etc., and then announced, before
the merger mind you, that it was going to undertake a HUGE reverse
split. Say 300-1 for instance. Then this 'other' company, assets and all, watched as the stock dropped like an apple onto chicken little's
head. When the stock neared bottom the investors in this 'other' company started to gobble up all of those shares at next to nothing
prices.
Just because a company announces a 'pending' development doesn't mean
that they are legally bound to that decision. Kind of like a crooked
judge asking the jury to forget the testimony they just heard, and that
it should be stricken from the records. Tampering? Prove it!
