If the private sector took over those functions the overhead would double and so would the F-ups. As usual you don't know what you are talking about. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I clearly know more about the subject than you do. BS, I've seen them try. Listen, if the private sector could do it cheaper then they would privatize it. Happens everyday with government functions. They have privatized 1000's of things over the years from prisons to military support to much of the accounting work to ... But frankly there are a number of functions that government can do better and cheaper than the private sector. I know that's sacrilege to you anti-government wackos but it's fact. They check into privatizing these functions, get the quotes, and go "holy shit is THAT what it REALLY costs?". Just ask Jeb Bush... he essentially wanted to privatize the entire state government and couldn't afford it.
