My information on DVD volumes were based on typical revenues for
VHS, and Linden has corrected me that in high volumes Macrovision
gets 3-8 cents (more than a penny or two). VHS revenues are less than DVD fees, though I can't explain why. It seems to me that in both cases the effect is the same, to prevent a casual user from making a VHS copy. I think that is my point, all of these fees depend upon the wide use of VHS recorders in the consumer's hands.

I can speculate on why the PE ratio is so high for this stock if you want me to. There has been a sudden jump in price even though the business fundamentals seem basically the same.
