Strange is probably not the way to describe it. Maybe desperate. I know they will face incredible challenges because the Germans and French don't get along, and once merger is implemented, you will have tremendous internal positioning that it will be difficult to get things done. Been there, done that ...and I will be shocked if they pull it off. Dormann, however, is a smart guy and no one knows what his ultimate agenda is. If anyone can do it, he can, but I question whether bringing these two cultures, with American leaders at the top, will be possible. Just an opinion.
