ANSR's management is from KPMG and is now allowed (as of Jan 1, 1999) to go after old KPMG clients. This was known but makes for a nice story. The current estimate for ANSR in 1999 is $.49 but they should do closer to $.60 (maybe low $.60's). Estimates for 2000 won't come out until after ANSR reports the Dec qtr (in a few weeks). That number should start in the low-mid $.70's. That will likely slowly move up more towards $.90 (as analysts raise estimates $.05+ each quarter). I value ANSR at 40-50x earnings so I think it is worth about $30 now and $40-45 in a year. I think the market will have a correction before 2000 numbers get entirely discounted so it doesn't look like a great buy near $30. You never know though with momentum investors. Net net, its a great company and an expensive stock but if the market has a big move from here I wouldn't be surprised to see the stock in the high $30's then correct. I would rather own other things right now but I am confident ANSR will have a multi-billion dollar valuation in a few years.
