NT is a very stable and complex operating system like UNIX and slower
only if you have less RAM. If you have enough RAM it flies. It is very
stable against system crashes an also excellent for Remote and Network
access, and works hand in hand with NT Server based networks or other networks. Through the cool features of Remote Access Services you can access any applications at your workplace just as though you were on the network, even windows apps. It is much more stable that Win95 and that is what corporations want. I work for GEs IT Dept. and we are eagerly awaiting NT 4.0. It is going to be the desktop standard for the corporation. We have not adopted to Win95 because of its instability.

Another Note,
NT runs 16 bits WIndows applications smoothly. Right Now I am on NT 4.0 and I have several 16 bit apps on my system. This is the Operating
system to challenge UNIX, which till now was the best OS for big networks. NT is a true multi tasking system while Win95 is not. So if you have enough memory NT flies.

Long on Micron
