Hello Harvey,

I have also been looking for a good internet source, preferably free, of historical information about options. I am specifically looking for the historical average daily volume (at least 30 days) of an option. I am seeking this information in order to be sure that the market is fluid enough for me to exit easily after I enter. I checked Lombard, Pacific Brokerage Services, and Quote.Com, but the best I could find was a 10 day average daily volume available on Quote.Com with a basic subscription of about $10 a month.

What I plan to do now is to subscribe to Dial/Data's plan where you can obtain 2 years of historical data on options for a minimum cost of $15 a month. I called them and they told me that the information includes volume and open interests.

If you find any other way to obtain the information I want, please let me know.

Thanks.
