Chris avoided the topic so we are left to speculate. Impinj owns the reader chip market. I am speculating that some type of deal will be required, and further speculating QCOM would need to license PI's IP to integrate it into their chipsets. I was an early investor in QCOM and pretty well versed on how their chipset and licensing businesses evolved. Cooters

Edit - Further speculation. While QCOM has acquired companies to expand their IP, Snaptrack(GPS) and Flarion(OFDM) are examples. I don't think that is in the cards here. A simple license makes the most sense....to me....
