yup, I loved the part where he says "if it is a right, then I have the right to demand my healthcare right now...whatever I need at a reasonable price and without delay.
this is the thing about "rights", if somebody else has to provide it, it ain't a right. That is what is so brilliant about the founding fathers, they recognized that the inalienable right didn't require somebody else to provide them.
I have the right to speak because I can. I have the right to write down whatever I want, because i can I have the right to protect myself (bear arms), because i can etc....
if someone else must provide it, like healthcare or education, it isn't a right, it is a service. |
