[Even as stocks in Web application companies continue to soar, the venture capital community has begun scouting out the next "hot" area. Bill Younger, who writes checks for Sutter Hill Ventures, sees big things coming from online video. As bandwidth widens and storage becomes cheaper, Younger expects more Web users to surf toward moving pictures on the Net, he said. Sutter Hill -- which has funded Edify (EDFY), Forte (FRTE) and Avanti, among other companies -- is based in Palo Alto, Calif., and has operated for three and a half decades. RealNetworks (RNWK) says it has more than 50 million users of its RealPlayer, which allows surfers to listen to and watch Web material.]
