If the stock tanks after you write a covered call, I think you wait for expiration and write another one. You haven't lost anything because you didn't sell, and you get to collect rent again next month. AMAT got hammered, but without looking I'd bet the AMAT faithful buy calls before the ink is dry. All this is purely in the form of a question, so I'd really welcome any corrections or additional info. Mike
