You don't need to totally "confiscate" from the rich, nor can you take anything from those who don't have anything either.

You are advocating taking money from the people who provide jobs, which will merely motivate them to do other things with their money (e.g., tax-free bonds or overseas investments).

I'd be the first to say that American tax policy it stupid (which is the reason we need to do away with it in favor of a NST). But it is a key means by which we regulate the economy, and we all know that when you increases taxes on the wealthy it has the effect of slowing economic growth. So, why do you want to do it?
